Land Training
Land training is currently Monday and Wednesday evenings, prior to swimming training sessions.
Head Coach Amanda runs these sessions which are primarily aimed at Performance Squads and other squad swimmers are welcome by arrangement/invitation.
Land training is tailored to the developmental swimming needs of the swimmer and their age and capability. Land training is about strength and conditioning (S&C) and mobility and not about weights and pumping iron.
They are complementary to the poolside stretching and mobility work with your mats and resistance bands.
Current Timetable is:
Mondays: 5.30pm - 6:00pm Abingdon Sports Centre
Wednesday: 6:30pm - 7:00pm Abingdon Sports Centre
