The B-Final gala was a 2 hour frenzy of relay and individual sprint swims, hosted by Amersham at Chiltern Pools Leisure Centre.<br /></span><br /><span>Competing against Maidenhead Marlins A &amp; B teams, Amersham B, Chesham, and Newbury, the AVSC squad of 32 swimmers, aged 12 and under, settled into 3rd place after some technical disqualifications, but then rallied with a final batch of thrilling swims to take 1st place, winning by 11 points.</span><br /><span>&nbsp;</span><br /><span>Coach James Halfhead said "<em>our young swimmers held their nerve and showed real determination to pull back the win, demonstrating their capabilities with good technique and exciting, fast swimming"</em></span><br /><br /><span>With 21 wins from 50 events, AVSC showed their speed &amp; determination.
